Solar Fume Board - 10 Frame

Want an easy way to remove bees from your supers? Try our solar fume board, along with Honey-B-Gone! The Honey-B-Gone is sprayed in a zig-zag pattern on the felt underside of the fume board, and placed on top of the supers. The sun radiates through the black top and warms the Honey-B-Gone, which vaporizes it and creates a very strong odor that repels the bees and forces them down to the supers below, leaving bee-free supers ready to remove for extraction. Once you try this method, you'll never want to brush or blow bees out of supers again!

For best results, we recommend that you set the fume board on the hive at a slightly crooked angle, which leaves a couple of corners open and allows the bees to escape more quickly.
