EZ Uncapping Block
If you're just getting started and don't want to spend money on a full uncapping tank setup, our EZ Uncapping Block is an excellent option. It fits nicely on a 5 gallon bucket, and allows you a solid place to rest the frame and slice the cappings off into the bucket.
What you're getting is just the yellow piece in the picture. Frame, knife, bucket, and cute kid are not included :)

Songbird Acres - Cliff Bontrager My first year I tried to uncap a dozen or so frames by simply setting the frame on top of a bucket only to deal with the frame dropping down inside or sliding off the side onto the counter - not again! This uncapping block saved much frustration and headache! However, as I grow I realize for only $50 more I could have the economy uncapping tank that would also help with filtering the cappings, then again, for only $185 more I could have the Hive Butler uncapping tank that can be used for other purposes as well! This uncapping block is a very inexpensive tool that will save headache and frustration for a small hobbyist or even someone that is processing more if there is a setup with a way to filter the cappings with buckets!
